CostPulse reads Shopify product, variant and recent order data needed to calculate gross-margin checks.

CostPulse processes the minimum order data required for merchant analytics. It does not request customer name, email, phone or address fields.

The MVP stores session data in an encrypted HTTP-only cookie and, when configured, an encrypted server-side session store. It does not persist order records. Temporary cost values affect the current scan/export only.

No customer outreach, resale, advertising, or customer-level automated decisioning is performed.

Diagnostic exports are generated only when the merchant requests them.
